Public guide data
Guide updates are meant to be auditable.
DropSub cancellation guides and regional notes are based on public, reviewable reference data. The public data repo is planned at github.com/kborndorff/dropsub-public-data. Services can still change prices, URLs, and cancellation steps without warning, so always double-check any auto-filled amount, date, URL, or instruction before you rely on it.
Validation process
How guide changes should be reviewed.
Public data updates can be inspected before they become app updates. A release-ready guide should have valid structure, current service naming, region notes when relevant, and a recent human validation date. DropSub does not mine user data to build these guides.
App-bundled
The app works offline. Public data is reviewed and bundled into app releases rather than pulled from user accounts.
User double-check
Services can change prices, URLs, and cancellation steps. Users should double-check auto-filled amounts, dates, URLs, and instructions.
